Job Description

SimplePlan Media is hiring for the position of Shopify Support Trainee in Delhi. This opportunity is suitable for freshers and candidates with basic technical knowledge who are interested in Shopify, e-commerce, customer support, and software troubleshooting.

The selected candidate will help online store owners use Shopify applications, resolve technical issues, configure apps, and communicate with the development team to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to merchant queries through live chat, email, and video calls.
• Help merchants install, configure, and use Shopify applications.
• Troubleshoot app-related issues and identify possible causes.
• Coordinate with developers to resolve technical problems.
• Assist with Shopify themes, app embeds, app blocks, and storefront configurations.
• Understand merchant requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved.
• Prepare bug reports with screenshots and steps to reproduce problems.
• Test fixes and maintain support documentation.
• Share customer feedback and suggestions with the product team.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have the following skills and knowledge:

• A technical background and an interest in software and technology.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and online stores.
• Basic familiarity with JavaScript and Shopify is an advantage.
