Job Responsibilities

Theme Development & Customization

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes according to project requirements.
• Customize existing WordPress themes using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and good website performance.
• Convert Figma, PSD, or other design mockups into functional WordPress websites.

Plugin Development & Integration

• Develop custom WordPress plugins for specific business requirements.
• Modify and extend existing plugins.
• Implement WordPress hooks such as actions and filters.
• Ensure compatibility between plugins and the WordPress core.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs.

Website Management & Maintenance

• Manage WordPress installations, updates, and backups.
• Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Monitor website performance and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and fix website bugs.
• Implement website speed optimization techniques.

Front-End & Back-End Development

• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Develop interactive UI elements and animations.
• Work with React or Vue when required for headless WordPress projects.
• Write clean and efficient PHP code.
• Manage MySQL databases.
• Work with custom post types, taxonomies, and WordPress user roles.
• Integrate REST APIs and AJAX functionality.

Security & Performance Optimization

• Implement WordPress security best practices.
• Secure forms and login systems.
• Identify and resolve potential security vulnerabilities.

SEO & Accessibility

Client Communication & Documentation

• Understand project requirements and business needs.
